Net Gain Solutions, a software and technology outfit, came to us wanting to update their website to something clean and minimal that would reflect the character and services of their company.
The New England Catholic Homeschool Conference, which was heading into its fourth annual conference, wanted to professionalize their website presence, streamline their conference registration, and provide an online space for New England Catholic homeschool families to connect. We accomplished this by completely rethinking their whole visual identity and website design. We re-focused the content on conference information to drive registrations, which are now handled completely online. To provide a space for homeschool families to connect, the new website is a customization of a premium Wordpress theme, the main feature of which is to allow for geo-location and user listing of groups and events.
Andrew Manuse came to Perceptions Studio at the outset of his campaign needing an impressive package of print and web media. We designed for him a wide range of campaign materials—logo, brochure and palmcard, yard signs, business cards—as well as a dynamic website. The website prominently featured his campaign message, developed in coordination with Perceptions Studio Founder Carolyn McKinney, as well as important social media integration.
In 2009, Simple Elegance Events founder Julia Davids came to Perceptions Studio in need of a logo and website for her start-up event planning business. It needed to reflect all of the goals for her business: elegance, simplicity, beauty, and dynamism. We worked with Julia to create a brand and corporate site that exudes professionalism and grace. The website features Flash content as well as dynamic quotes and image galleries.
Saint Benedict Academy, a Catholic elementary school, wanted to expand their marketing and outreach to new families. By redesigning their logo and website, we breathed life into this established school. We completely re-thought the entire website, focusing first on parents of prospective students. We re-mapped and re-wrote all of the site content, improving content flow and navigation. We humanized the site by showcasing lots of student and classroom photos as well as testimonials from parents. We made the most important information to prospective families easy to find.
Cornerstone Action came to me with an outdated site and a brand in need of a facelift. We breathed life into the logo by choosing elements that are cleaner, but similar to their established brand. We also streamlined their website and their process of updating the site by moving them from a Dreamweaver-based setup to using Wordpress as a content management system. The new website prominently features the three aspects of their mission, includes a number of widgetized areas to appropriately showcase their content, automated email signup, online donation and event registration utilizing CiviCRM, a document library of downloadable PDFs for issue research, and political action item integration through CapWiz.
Before hiring Perceptions Studio, The Way of Beauty Blog was a Wordpress.com hosted website with a free theme applied. The blog regularly features fine art, so it was necessary to incorporate into the design and feature set a way to easily showcase works of art. The final product includes art gallery, embedded multimedia, blog posts as well as journal-length articles, related posts to encourage longer time on site, and social media integration.
